Enzymatic Hair Removal

Enzymatic, or biological, hair removal is an effective method for permanently eliminating unwanted hair growth by introducing specific enzymes into newly treated hair follicles.

This method is suitable for various areas, including the legs, armpits, and bikini line, but it is especially effective in hormone-dependent areas such as the upper lip, cheeks, neck, abdomen, buttocks, and hands.

After waxing, enzymes such as chymotrypsin, papain, and bulbain are applied using iontophoresis. These enzymes penetrate the depilated follicles and destroy the regenerative cells of the hair, resulting in a gradual reduction in hair growth—up to 40% for dark hair and up to 80% for fine hair. This treatment also extends the time before hair regrowth occurs, taking up to twice as long as traditional waxing.

Treatment Frequency:

Enzymatic hair removal is typically performed once a month. The total number of sessions required may vary depending on the area of the body and the quality of hair growth.
