Aging
The skin is the largest organ of the human body and serves as a mirror of our physical and mental health, as well as our age.
Skin aging is a genetically determined phenomenon that gradually causes normal, irreversible changes.
Over the years, the skin loses its ability to retain moisture, resulting in fine lines and wrinkles. In the dermis, collagen and elastin degenerate and decrease, while the hyaluronic acid necessary for skin hydration diminishes, along with natural fat, leading to sagging and wrinkles.
This occurs because, during the aging process, cellular metabolism decreases, which in turn reduces the biosynthesis of essential substances (proteins, lipids) that contribute to tissue renewal. Consequently, skin cells lose their ability to metabolize and differentiate effectively.
As a result of aging, the skin loses elasticity, becomes dry, dull, rough, and full of wrinkles. Additionally, discoloration may appear in the areas most exposed to the sun.
The most fundamental rule in anti-aging is to maintain proper skin care at any age.
There are numerous anti-aging treatments available that provide immediate and painless results. These treatments aim to smooth wrinkles, tighten the skin, and enhance the overall appearance, resulting in a healthy and radiant complexion without blemishes and wrinkles.
